AL MADRIGAL AND JESSICA MARIE GARCIA ANNOUNCED AS CO-HOSTS, MITÚ SET TO HOST RED CARPET FOR NATIONAL HISPANIC MEDIA COALITION’S 2025 IMPACT AWARDS GALA
The annual gathering honors outstanding individuals making a positive impact on Latino communities
LOS ANGELES, CA – The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) announced today writer, actor and comedian Al Madrigal alongside actress, writer, and producer, Jessica Marie Garcia as Co-Hosts of the 2025 Impact Awards Gala taking place on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. The annual celebration honors the incredible contributions of Latino individuals creating a more inclusive society.
mitú’s Jennifer Arias and Alejandro Perez are also set to return as the Official Red Carpet Hosts during NHMC’s annual gathering of Latino excellence. The digital news and culture source for Latinos by Latinos will speak with NHMC’s Impact Award honorees as well as attendees on the significance and importance of Latino recognition and representation in the entertainment industry.
Mexican-American multihyphenate entertainer Al Madrigal is best known for his role as the Latino Correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Most recently, Madrigal can be seen on NBC’s hit comedy Lopez vs. Lopez playing George Lopez’s best friend, Oscar. As an entrepreneur, Madrigal founded All Things Comedy (ATC) alongside fellow comedian Bill Burr, which produces several movies, television shows, and is the #1 comedy podcast network. Madrigal is currently developing an extensive slate of Latino-centric projects for TV within his current deal at CBS Studios.
Known for her captivating on-screen and off-screen personality, powerhouse actress, writer, and producer Jessica Marie Garcia returns to co-host NHMC’s Impact Awards Gala. Garcia can be seen alongside Madrigal on NBC’s hit comedy Lopez vs. Lopez playing Yesika, opposite George and Mayan Lopez. She is widely recognized for her breakout role as Jasmine Flores on Netflix’s hit series On My Block and for recurring on Shonda Rhimes’ How to Get Away with Murder, playing Rhonda opposite Viola Davis. Most recently, Garcia completed two short films—Illegally Brown and What To Expect—both currently making their way through the festival circuit.
